Grassroots Community Groups Training: Multiple Victories Workshops
Discover tools to help you engage your community, create common goals, and build ownership and momentum for your neighborhood project in this 5-part community leadership training opportunity. (See series dates below.) The Multiple Victories Workshop series teaches you how to engage your neighbors in your community project and build ownership and momentum towards your goal. This isn’t a “we talk, you listen” workshop; the sessions are guided by your projects and community.

In these five workshops, you'll learn how to: > Bring together key players to "wire your project for success." > Create effective ways for your community to get involved in your project. > Involve lots of people without slowing down the process. > Turn community ideas into do-able actions. > Create a powerful "early success" event or project that keeps people inspired. > Generate momentum and build broad project ownership.

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE? Anyone who cares about their neighborhood and has a project or project idea to apply the tools to, such as: a neighborhood sustainability club, a block watch group, an artist association, a community park stewardship group, etc.
SERIES DATES & TIMES November 7, December 5, January 23, February 20 and March 20 (all Saturdays) 9:30am - 3:30pm LOCATION Foss Waterway Seaport 705 Dock Street, Tacoma, WA
