Latino Education Alliance
Established in 2006, by the Latino Education Alliance. The Alliance was formed in 1995 by community members who were concerned with the rising dropout rate of Latino students in the Tacoma Public School District. The fund is supported by community members and local businesses.
Eligibility Requirements:
· Must be a minimum of 50% Latino descent.
· Enrolled in a Tacoma Public School District High School graduating in June of the current school year.
· Demonstrate financial need.
· Provide proof of enrollment/acceptance to a post-secondary training program or institution of higher learning prior to the distribution of scholarship funds.
