The Fund for Women & Girls
The mission of the Fund for Women & Girls is to promote the power of generosity among women and to fund opportunities for women and girls in Pierce County. Grants are made once a year.

Letters of Interest: Due May 15 and, if invited to apply, a full proposal is due June 15. For more information about the Fund for Women and Girls please visit their homepage.

Green Partnership Fund:  
The Green Partnership Fund was established in 2004 to further the goal of implementing natural resource and sustainable agriculture conservation for the citizens of Fircrest, Gig Harbor, Lakewood, Milton, Puyallup, Steilacoom, Sumner, University Place, Tacoma, and unincorporated Pierce County.  The fund was established in cooperative efforts of the City Council, the Pierce County Council, and the Pierce Conservation District Board of Supervisors.   
 
Funding Priorities:  The mission of the Pierce Conservation District is to protect the natural resources and promote sustainable agriculture of Pierce County by empowering local individuals and communities.   Pierce Conservation District works to enhance and protect the following resources:

Soil
* Water
* Biodiversity
* Salmon and Shellfish
* Native Plants
The Green Partnership Fund supports projects that promote efforts by partner organizations to achieve Pierce Conservation District’s Mission. Projects must protect the natural resources and/or promote sustainable agriculture of Pierce County.
 
Pierce Conservation District understands there are many valuable projects happening in each watershed but GPF money will first be given to projects that fall within the following focus areas by watershed:
 
Nisqually. Pervious surfaces, Salmon, TMDL.
Puyallup. Farmland loss, Pervious surfaces, Salmon, TMDL.
Chambers-Clover. Pervious surfaces, Water quality.
Key Peninsula-Gig Harbor-Islands. Shellfish, Water quality.
