We're excited to launch our quarterly e-newsletter! The newsletter will provide a bit more in-depth information about The Fund, what is going on with women and girls in Pierce County, reports from some of our grantees, and ways for you to get more involved.
The Fund for Women & Girls was created as a component fund of The Greater Tacoma Community Foundation. We seek to address societal issues where women and girls are disproportionately affected.
We address issues relating to: - access to health care; - limited educational and employment opportunities; - inadequate financial resources; - safety and violence against women and their families.
"Promoting the power of generosity among women and funding opportunities for women and girls in Pierce County" is our mission; we hope you will join us in helping women and girls in Pierce County to achieve their dreams.
